Privacy Policy - Texas Star Christian Magazine

ELEMENT ONE

Information Collection

Gathering information has become a serious business for every person.  It has also become a dangerous one, because the public is now exposed to anyone that might be inclined to misuse that information for, their own greedy reasons.  And, based upon that very reason it is important that we (Texas Star Christian Magazine) protect the privacy of its client(s)s from criminal misconduct.

The collection of your personal information comes from a variety of ways that allows for us to engage with our client(s).  We collect your information through surveys, chats, comments, forums, snail mail, emails, phone conversations, and/or online financial transactions that is necessary to purchase its fine products.  (privacy.microsoft 2013).

PURPOSE #1

The purpose for collecting your data and information is for us to interact with our client(s) purchase of its products.  In that regard, without certain information there could be no online transactions between the two parties.  However, it is extremely necessary that our client(s) know that whatever information is shared, it will remain under a secure and protected environment.  Our Policy has been designed to apply to all of your personal and identifiable information to legally ensure that protection.

Our Policy includes the protection of, but not limited to, our client(s)’s names, addresses, phone numbers, credit card information, and the social security and/or driver’s license or date of birth, (if and when it is necessary, as that the last three items are needed for hiring new staff).

In addition, we have placed on our website an icon/button, called ‘Contact Us’ that allows you to view or change any of your personal information.  When you make those changes it will then update your account at the company’s accounting section. Contact Us on our website. Example: Change of Address from one place to another.

ELEMENT TWO

Utilization of Personal Information

The utilization of your personal information comes in several forms.  We use your data to connect with our client(s) on personal level.  The company’s unique products are so designed to encourage you to return to our website.

Quite often you may want to request a special item that has been in our past collections or would like our Master craftsmen to create a new design.  In any case we respect your wishes and will accommodate them using your up dated information. (privacy.microsoft, 2013).

PURPOSE #2

It is our standard practice that collection of your personal information may be used for sharing.  Our Policy describes how, who, and when that information will be shared.  It explains in detail about third parties, our affiliates and/or partners and the necessity of sharing your information to expand our fan base among its associates.

Our marketing department will use the information to send out promotions, offer incentives, or communicate with you by chat or by survey. Our Policy will include the descriptive content of our Policy any offer that allows you to ‘opt-out’ regarding non-contact to you, in any format, in the future.  Also, the sharing of information with our affiliates and/or partners places them under the same rules written under our Policy protection practices.

Element #2 further explains that we will inform you about our ‘opting-out’ procedure by emails and/or telephone calls, regarding our responsibility to refrain from sending you future advertising promotions or incentives, and that we shall be responsible for informing our third parties, affiliates, and partners.

ELEMENT THREE

 Sharing Personal Information

We will not provide your information to any third party unless you have authorized such sharing.  There may be reasons that you have expressed that would prohibit such sharing that could have been originally required by the law and/or necessary to the protection of us.  In those cases the legal requirements would fall under the jurisdiction of ‘causing financial or bodily injury’ and would go before the courts, thus be subjective to service of subpoenas, which may conflict with the rights of others.

Our Policy clearly states that persons or companies that are contracted to support the internal website’s operations of its business activities must be notified by certified mail or hand delivery.  When any changes are necessary by a client the Policy will support those changes.

In addition, our Policy will not support such action where by sharing your personal information with a third party would allow us to gain some form of compensation.  In other words there must be written consent before any changes or modifications can be expedited, otherwise we will not share your personal information with any unauthorized third party.  If and when there are expressed concerns between either or both parties, then there must be immediate communication.

Element Three:

Sharing Personal Information

We further recommend that anyone giving their consent to receiving communications from our non-affiliated companies that communication must be conducted directly with that company and must by-pass input to or from us (Texas Star Christian Magazine), whether online, by phone, email, and/or mail.  Thus, any changes or amendments, and/or deletions to one’s personal information that non-affiliate may have must be provided directly to them.

Exception to sharing of your personal information with a non-affiliated company would be the legal requirement that said non-affiliated company must protect such information that is consistent to our (Texas Star Christian Magazine’s) own Policy standards.  There shall be no guarantee from us that these non-affiliated companies will comply to our Policy standards or protect said personal information.  (Alloy, 2011).

PURPOSE #3

Element #3 explores more detailed information about our collecting vital data and/or information from out client(s).  It also discusses how we utilize your information, the point of that usage, and more importantly, how we then share your information with a third party or affiliate.

We repeat that it is necessary and gives you the peace of mind that we are responsible for the well being of our client’s needs and are transparent about sharing that responsibility.  We are a retail business that serves the wants of our clients and we must stay within the confines of the law that protects our clients and ourselves.
